10 Jun IN FERNÁNDEZ WE HAVE TAKEN 20 YEARS SUPPORTING “5 AL DIA”
At Fernández we have been supporting “5 al Día” for 20 years. A Spanish non-profit association that, based on the contributions of its members, promotes the consumption of fruit and vegetables among the population.
Since 2001 we have been associated with this entity because we are aware that with our work we offer health to consumers and we believe in the importance of spreading its message: “Fruits and Vegetables: 5 a day! Good for your health”.
“5 a day” is also part of an international movement, recognized in more than 40 countries, becoming the largest fruit and vegetable promotion strategy in the world.
The general objectives of “5 a day” are the following:
– Report on the health benefits of daily consumption of at least 5 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables.
– Influence the improvement of the eating habits of our society.
– Spread the message “Fruits and Vegetables: 5 a day! Good for health”
– Increase the per capita consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables of the Spanish population until reaching the recommended level.
