Strawberries

Strawberries

We use the designation strawberry and large strawberry interchangeably, distinguishing them only by size and varieties. Historically, strawberries have always been included in our product gamut. We market it 12 months of the year, though our greatest volume is from the end of winter until the beginning of spring, coinciding with the peak of Huelva production. The rest of the year, we maintain sales with both national and imported product. The variety turnover allows us to offer an optimum product in quality and flavor throughout the year.

The Spanish market demands large strawberries that are huge, and are mostly sold in 2 Kg boxes for traditional outlets and trays of 250 g or 500 g for supermarkets.

Features:

The strawberry is part of the rosaceae family. The difference between the strawberry and the large strawberry is the size of the fruit; the strawberry is smaller. It has a conical shape and a brilliant red color, with small encrusted seeds on the surface. The pulp has an exquisite juice and a mixed flavor that is acidic and sweet. It is highly recommended for gastritis, and also contains diuretic properties.
