Oranges

We collaborate with a network of national and international suppliers in Spain, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Argentina and Uruguay. This diversity of sources allows us to sell this product all year-round.

 

We sell approximately 14,000 tons of oranges, of which about 75% is imported. From this 75%, we supply our national citrus locations and other wholesale clients.

 

We adapt the packaging to the needs and requirements of our customers. Our Bongust and Cuqui brands are distributed in various packaging formats.

 

We regularly provide table oranges in 8 Kg boxes to domestic markets, and 15 Kg boxes to import markets. For juice oranges, we use 15 Kg boxes or mesh, depending on the customer’s requirements.

 

The varieties of table oranges we make available from Spain are: Navelina, Navel, Navel Late, Lane Late, Powel; from the Southern Hemisphere: Navel, Navel Late, Wiktrans, Powel and Cambria.

 

For juice oranges from Spain: Valencias; from the Southern Hemisphere: Benny Valencia, Midknight, Delta and Valencia.

Features:

The orange is a citrus fruit belonging to the rutaceae family. It has a thick, orange-colored skin and a spherical shape. The pulp tastes sweet and is very rich in vitamin C, with essential nutrients for a healthy metabolism.

More common varieties:

Navel, Navel Late, Valencia, Powell, Navelina, Washington Navel, Navel Lanelate, Midknight, Cambria.

Optimal maintenance temperature:

4-9º C.
